As per everyone else. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! You will kick yourself if you go with this awful 'company' My client is very angry and it reflects badly on my company. Complained to anyvan and sent numerous begging texts and emails but only just managed to get through on the same mobile number this evening. So many excuses I had to hang up! accepted his bid on 20th Nov!!!!! Turnert (34) replied: you set job as flexible then demand dates and say we agreed date which we never agreed on then you ring up we tried to sort out a date but you hung up rude arrogant and unhelpful also lies |

Not one to normally leave negative feedback but I feel you should be aware of our experience of this driver. I Was advised after accepting the quote the sofa would be collected Wednesday between 5.30 and 6.30pm I advised them ok I would wait for them as we normally close at 5pm at 6.15 there was no sign I called to check the van was nearby and was advised that they were just leaving! Which would mean at least 7.15pm before they got to me not sure when he was ever going to tell me or just expected me to sit and wait. we re arranged for 9am the next day and I got staff in specially for this eventually they arrived after 10am, excuse number 1 was they had trouble getting out of the yard that morning, however again he didn't think to call and advise me they turned up in a van that was only fit for the scrap yard a collegue called me to say the sofa had been chucked on the back of this van that package ripped as they were loading it and would be surprised if the vaneven made it out of nottingham they even took a picture of the van they were that shocked. Already I am concernced and I advised my customer the sofa is enroute and to let me know of its arrival. Surprise surprise it did not get there. However YET again nobody called to advise any different and both myself and my customer tried numerous times to contact Chris Turner via email, text and phone. Excuse no 2 The van broke down. We were eventually advised this 4 hours after the delivery was supposed to take place. They could not tell us when they could deliver as needed to wait for a new van part. They did not call because Excuse no 3 they were having phone trouble! I eventually managed to speak to Chris on Friday and advised him I would like the sofa back to arrange another courier and I could have it fetched from him that afternoon he said no need he would arrange for it to be dropped off from where it was collected at 9am the next morning. Fair enough I thought I will give you the benefit of the doubt. Needless to say the sofa did not get returned back to us Saturday and after spending all day yesterday 3rd Dec trying to get hold of this guy to find out why not and where the sofa was I even considered calling the police to report it has stolen and I spoke with the Anyvan team who also messaged him and told me I should report him, he finally text me at 6.53pm to say "sorry only just got messages Excuse again of the phones not working although they rang ok when I called and he could text o.k I was told they sounded as though you were underwater!, The sofa would be with me at 7am in morning" I advise again no one will be there then as we dont open that early to be told if we are not there the driver will leave the sofa on the street as his driver was in the area early!! I was at this stage annoyed to say the least I replied to say I did not want the sofa to be dumped and would arrange staff to be there at 8am he agreed that was o.k. by 9.15am yes you guessed no sofa. I tried to call but kept getting the answerphone I left a message and sent texts i decided to keep ringing until someone answered. Eventually he did the signal was fine and I could hear everything clearly funny as I was told different the day before Chris told me now that he could not tell me a time as the van had multidrops. Yet again a different story to the nhgt before I advised him my staff could not spend the day waiting and wasting time for him again when I had got them in early especially for him so he apparantley rang the driver and I was told between 2pm & 3pm today. The sofa turned up at 1pm! Chris constantly told me it wasn't his fault. I appreciate things happen and go wrong but somehow everything just seemed a little too far fetched and to make matters worse the whole lack of comunication and ignoring our calls and messages on made the matter far worse and myself and my customer very angry at being messed about. I am afraid I will never be booking this company again after 15 years myself of trading have never experienced such a farse nothing but a nightmare from start until finish. I have no doubt he will reply to this feedback to say it was not his fault and no doubt more excuses. Turnert (34) replied: jokes lmao far from the truth and i mean way off the mark 10 out of 10 for all your lies. 1st. sofa was collected on time 2. we had a breakdown which she was advised of, 3. she was rude when we said we would return as i could not give an exact date threatening she would send ppl round not professional 4. we tried to deliver on sat no one was about 5. we then tried again on monday to be told by a scruffy fella he was not going to help lift6. sofa was delivered on tuesday and packing was damaged by her own employer who just dragged sofa off van. you are a complete liar and wasted my time 2 of my drivers time and cost me further exspence further more personnel storage told us you constantly do this and then always blame others for your wrong doing we offered to deliver sofa but as we said we was not sure which day this week it would have been but we would have phoned you day before delivery. |

Courier did not collect as promised, although to give the benefit of doubt may have been due to flood alerts and traffic congestion. Initial postcode issue but he was made aware from the outset via email and phone call. Consequently he moved the day of collection and didn't turn up nor contact me with reason why. Neither did he respond to my emails or voicemails. Unfortunately this lack of customer focus means I cannot recommend.. Turnert (34) replied: you changed from crystal palace to straford upon avon collection without prior consent or agreement and wonder why we cant collect the item |
