Choosing Your Storage

Each of our secure ‘pods’ fits approximately 3-4 large furniture items plus boxes and bags; the equivalent to 250 cubic feet or 7 cubic metres. We will ensure we pack your goods safely using all the space available to us per pod. Our storage team are happy to give you an accurate estimate of pods required based on either your inventory or your property type.

We are more than happy to provide removal boxes and packaging n order to ensure all your goods are safely stored with us. We offer a 10% discount on all our storage customers. Our storage expert will happily discuss your individual requirements.

That won’t be necessary! We security tag every pod free of charge. We will be transporting your goods to a storage facility where your items will be placed directly in the AnyVan Storage pod and will be locked by the facility along with an AnyVan storage tag.

With over 40 storage facilities, we will store your contents at the nearest facility to you. All facilities come with, 24hr CCTV protection, climate and temperature room control and fire and intruder alarm systems.  For additional peace of mind, all goods are covered up to £50,000 fire and theft, with extended compensation cover available at 50p per £1000 per week.

All our customers will receive a typed up inventory of each item stored with us along with photos of the items in the storage pods. This will be sent to each customer directly via email in a PDF format up to 3 days post your move in.

We can store most things however we cannot store:

  • Any living thing, including any animals, fish, birds, reptiles & plants.
  • Foods and perishable goods.
  • Anything of an illegal nature
  • Any goods that give off smell or odour.
  • Any goods that require a special license

Pricing & Discounts

To confirm the booking, we require a signed contract and the first month’s storage fees in advance of the collection date as a minimum. We accept all major debit and credit cards but highly recommend GoCardless which is easy for setting up a direct debit.

To ensure our customer understand our pricing, we clearly indicate what we are charging for. Our quotes will include a weekly storage fee, collection & loading hourly rate, £50,000 basic compensation cover and discounts with larger bookings or upfront payment.

We would be more than happy to offer discounts for the above. If you could provide us with identification, we can then apply a 10% discount to your booking.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Bank Transfer /Direct Debit using GoCardless.

We do ask for our customer to pay promptly, so if you are having an issue with your payment please contact us as soon as possible as we can investigate and get your payment plan back on track. If your payment is more than one more late you may incur and be charged late fees.

It is not compulsory, however, it is advisable. We are very confident in our service however with the addition of insurance it provides peace of mind. Please note that all our customers receive Basic compensation cover of up to £50,000.

Access & Security

Sadly we do not. Our storage facilities are not officially open to our customers unless prior arrangement has been agreed. Due to health and safety reasons, we urge our customers to allow us to return all items directly to their desired property. We do however offer a delivery between 9-5pm Monday – Friday and 9-2pm on Saturday.

We understand some customers may wish to visit their allocated storage facility and access their items. With AnyVan Storage we require 48 hours notice and we can arrange for you to visit the storage facility.

As long as we have authorisation in writing from the individual who booked the storage we can allow access. You can also authorise access to a trusted member of the family or friend upon signing our contract.

Within 24 hours! Either give us a call or request a callback and one of our Storage advisors can run you through the process, with the collection as soon as the very next day.

Definitely not! To benefit from our best rates, a minimum of 4 weeks is required, however, we can store for as little as one-week if necessary. You’ll only ever pay for what you use.

We have been operating in the removal industry for over 10 years. We are highly regarded on Trustpilot and we could not be more confident in our product and service.

We offer an extended comprehensive cover for purchase with Zurich, however, you are entitled to purchase additional policies and levels of cover as needed.

Moving In & Out

We have two options available depending upon your requirements. Packing, loading & storing, or just loading and storing. Obviously, there is a cost implication for us packing the items but we do recommend it. If you wish to pack yourself, we can arrange an order to be placed with a partner at Removalboxes when your booking is placed and you can benefit from the discount provided.

We understand delays happen and we allow a 15 minutes grace period for the unforeseen delays, but we are on a tight schedule and want to ensure we can your contents to the storage facility on time. If you are aware you could be longer than 15 minutes we always advise giving us a call.

AnyVan Storage is always happy to help should you require packing, however, if you are packing your items yourself, please ensure you are as thorough as possible to ensure your items are well protected.

All you need to do is call our dedicated storage number and speak to one of our advisors who is able to help and request another collection. If you are able to provide your unique storage reference we can look to add the additional furniture to one of your AnyVan Storage Pods or arrange additional pods.

Not necessarily, we just request you provide us with as much information as possible regarding your property at booking so we are able to inform the transport provider before arrival.

We need you to provide us 48 hours notice so we can schedule for your contents to be delivered to your chosen address.

Of course, we just request 48 hours notice and we will arrange delivery. Delivery costs will depend on the number of items you require and the number of men needed for the delivery.

It is very simple, give us a call and one of our Storage Advisors will be able to update your delivery address on your profile.

You can store your items with us for as long as you require.

Of course, you can reschedule or cancel your collection or delivery. All we require is you give us at least 48 hours notice or otherwise there will be an additional charge.
