About Me
We offer reliable removals and transport services with a strong emphasis on clarity, efficiency, and professionalism. To ensure a smooth move, please review the key service terms below — all jobs are handled with care, but transparency is key to success.
Important info and T&Cs (accepting our offer means you agree to this):
● Availability Check Required: Jobs must be confirmed with us before acceptance.
● Load Limits:
• Max dedicated 3.5t luton van load up to 1000kg (24m3):
• Quarter load (5-6m³): max weight allowance- up to 300kg,
• Half load (10-12m³): max weight allowance- up to 500kg.
• Small part loads like 1-3 m3, max allowed weight 50 kg per 1m3, unless agreed otherwise.
• For 3.5t transit vans with capacity of 10-15m3, max loading weight is allowed up to 1200kg.
● Access & Stairs: Quotes are based on ground floor access (or upper floors with lifts). Extra charges apply for stairs unless agreed in advance.
● Parking: Customer must ensure parking space is available. Parking fines or congestion charges are the customer’s responsibility.
● Dismantling/Assembly: Not included unless specifically arranged. Extra charges will apply if needed.
● Cancellations: Less than 48 hours’ notice = 50% cancellation fee (min. £30), payable within 24 hours.
● Delays: £50/hour extra for any delays.
● Payment: By bank transfer before delivery. Cash on delivery might be possible as well, but must be agreed in writing in advance.
● Packaging: All goods must be properly packed for international shipment. We are not responsible for damage to unpacked/poorly packed items.
● Our basic insurance does not cover antiques, please arrange separate cover.
● Damage Claims: Must be reported on delivery and marked on the delivery note. Late claims won’t be accepted.
● Manpower: Service includes 1-person team. Customer help required unless agreed otherwise.
● This is international transport, so delays might happen: traffic, customs, ferries, breakdowns, strikes and etc. If this happens we will offer alternative dates for the job and we are not responsible for any consequential losses.
To become an Accredited transport provider we ask our users to present one of the following pieces of documentation to further verify themselves.
- Copy of Goods in Transit Insurance certificate
- Company Registration certificate (if applicable)
- UK VAT registration certificate (if applicable)
- Photocopy of Passport
- Drivers licence details

Excellent moving service for moving my items from Cambridge to Paris. I moved my personal belongings from Cambridge to Paris. I got a quote from one of AnyVan collaborators: Alex Van from A1 Deliveries Ltd. I am very satisfied with the service. Although I gave specific dates when I book the move, Alex had no problem to accommodate me when I asked for the move t one done one week earlier. He replied to every emails I sent or texts. The delvery was very quick: in 24h! The driver who collect my items was very professional, polite and did the loading and unloading of my boxes with great care whether they were fragile items or not. Very satisfied. I highly recommend Alex Van and A1 move. |
