All fixed quotes are based on the information given to me at the time of booking. I may increase the price if any of the following have not been taken into consideration when preparing your quote.
1) If the description or quantity of items in the inventory are not disclosed properly and accurately.
2) I have to collect or deliver goods to floors higher than those agreed. (Customer must state what floor Collection & Delivery is on. (If items are being Collected/Delivered above ground floor and there is no lift available or they are not able to fit in the lift.
3) Dismantling or assembling any flat-pack furniture or fittings.
4) If your listing is placed as flexible collection/delivery date this means what it says. If you require a collection at a set time/day or if any restrictions on when it can be collected/delivered this must be mentioned prior to accepting my bid. I am running a business and these small things can affect the price and how my other jobs on that day will be done.
5) Full agreed amount is payable if the job is not carried out after the van comes to the collection address, due to any reason. This amount will be equivalent to the petrol and time put in.

I was really disappointed by this service. The 2 men arrived on time and were friendly but they caused a lot of damage to the internal walls of the house when moving the furniture and also damaged some of the furniture. I contacted them to let them know and they clearly consider it best to ignore my correspondence. It is going to cost me more to make good the repairs than it cost to hire them. There is no way I would use them again and I would not recommend them. I am mostly annoyed by the fact that they couldn't be bothered to acknowledge my message about the damages but they were very quick to reply to my message about the job. |

Mohammed was fantastic. He arrived on time and was extremely efficient. He packed the van spectacularly well; it was like tetris! We needed two trips but that wasn't a problem (we were only moving a short distance away). I'd definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a 'man and van'. His colleague was brilliant too; extremely strong!! |
