SERVICES..Professional Courier, Light haulage, Removals, Multi drops. Also Same day/ next day & overnight collection & delivery available. The type of service is always agreed between myself and the customer when a bid is accepted. All goods are secured and protected with blankets when being conveyed. The same service as the large national companies offer at a fraction of the price.
LOOKING FOR A CORRECTLY INSURED COMPANY?
I carry the proper 'FULL REMOVERS INSURANCE'. 'GOODS IN TRANSIT' only covers your goods in transit. it's a much cheaper insurance which many operators tell you they have. It does not cover Removals or handling of your goods in your home.
PRICES & BIDS...As a rule I only ever submit one honest bid for a task. Some operators will present a bid of £400 (for example), then reduce down to £100. Ask yourself, would you trust a company who were prepared to charge you £300 over the odds. Unfortunately the price of fuel & availability of return loads dictates the price I have to charge, but I will always aim to be competative by keeping costs as low as possible. Please for your own peace of mind, alway check an operators insurances and feed back before accepting a bid!
MYSELF & MY COMPANY...I'm not permitted to post any contact details, but I will tell you a little about myself & my Company. I don't pretend to be a large company with lots of vehicles, I'm one man with a fully facilitated removals vehicle,(see photo). My son assists when 2 persons are required. I served in the Army (Royal Corps Of Transort) for many years. Getting combat supplies & equipment to where it was needed meant everything to those needing it. After leaving the Army I was with the Home Office for several years, 34 years service to the Crown in total.
My customers are predominantly people who hear through 'word of mouth' & people happy with the service they received previously. I have held an HGV 1 license for 35 years, I do all my own vehicle servicing & maintenances, I like to know a jobs done properly.
I'm based in the city of York.

Barney and his son Dan arrived promptly at 8am as arranged and had loaded everything into the van within the hour.
