The driver was rude, ill mannered, impatient and a con artist. He insisted on the transfer of the full amount a week before the scheduled pickup. I agreed to the transfer, however, it took a few days to show up in his bank account, which resulted in threats from the driver's end; along the lines of "I will cancel if I do not receive the full amount in my bank account'..etc.
After the this part of the predicament, he ignored all my calls and texts 24 hours before the pickup time, and he finally responded an HOUR before the pick up time with a cancellation, claiming that he had a broken ankle.
I sent him my bank details for a refund, and till this very day, 2 months later, I still have not received a thing. I contacted anyvan, and they refunded the deposit, but that is all I got.

DO NOT USE THIS SUPPLIER. I have reported him to the Police for fraud. So has a friend of mine.
He failed to make the agreed pick up (for which I flew back to the UK to arrange). He claimed a mistake on dates. He then missed a couple of revised pick up dates (and would not pick up his phone or respond to messages). I finally give him one last opportunity to make the pick up or I would cancel and report him to Anyvan. He then cancelled my job and promised an immediate refund by Paypal. After two weeks I had not received a refund so I contacted him. He said he was unable to make the refund and would transfer the money to my account. A couple of weeks later he still not had sent the refund and claimed that 1) I had cancelled the job and 2) I had taken weeks to give him the info fro a refund. This despite the fact that I have the messages showing that he cancelled me, and that I had sent his the refund details within 24 hours. Throughout the process Brian Spencer ('ICC Global'( has NEVER picked up the phone when I called (at least 12 times), usually does not respond to messages (he claims that he did not get them, so I also sent him emails), repeatedly lied, and seems to have no recollection of events, despite there being a clear trail of messages showing exactly what was said and when.
In addition he does business as ICC global. They told us that 'Brian" no longer works there.
THIS IS NOT A ONE OFF EVENT. He has ALSO done the same to a friend of mine who approached him through me to add a few items to the van as part of a second pick up. He took over 300 GBP and has refused repayment saying he subcontracted it to someone else and she needs to get the money from him....
