Terms and Conditions:
- Please always advice what floors both properties are on as this will enable us to provide the right quote. Otherwise extra charges may apply.
- If you provide a different collection/delivery address than on your listing extra charges may apply.
- It is responsibility of the customer to ensure the availability or permission for parking. If our van receives a penalty charge it is customer's responsibility to reimburse the driver when payment is made. Please note that parking fees are not included in the quoted price. If they apply we will add them on top of the balance.
- All jobs can be cancelled/postponed free of charge more than 48 hours before the agreed date of the job. However, if cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the agreed date, a charge of 50% from the original price will be applied.
- Waiting time exceeding 30 minutes at collection/delivery address is charged £20 per 30 minutes.
- Insurance T&C on request.
- Extra charges may apply if the actual amount of items on the day of pick-up exceeds the amount of items that were included in the original quote. If you underestimate the quantity of your things the driver has the right to charge more.
- Additional charges might occur if road or drive is unsuitable for our vehicles to load and/or unload within 25 meters of the doorway.
- You agree to examine the goods carefully and inform us about any loss or damage of the goods before the removal team leaves for the delivery address.
To become an Accredited transport provider we ask our users to present one of the following pieces of documentation to further verify themselves.
- Copy of Goods in Transit Insurance certificate
- Company Registration certificate (if applicable)
- UK VAT registration certificate (if applicable)
- Photocopy of Passport
- Drivers licence details

BigMove went above and beyond with our house move, even lifting a large metal piece of our wardrobe that was too long to go up the stairs through an outside window on the second floor of our building!!
