Our hiring process is tailored to each role, but we like to keep things simple and speedy, so it generally has three stages:
1. Intro call with our Talent team
One of our friendly talent team will ask for a 15-30 minute video call. We'll give you the inside scoop on life at AnyVan and check that your experience and expectations align with the role.
2. Meet the hiring manager(s)
In this 30-60 minute video call you'll get to meet your potential new boss, as well as other key managers. They'll explain the role opportunity in their own words, and dig into more of the day-to-day and how it aligns with your experience. It's a two-way conversation – we're happy to answer any questions you have too, big or small.
3. In-person interview
Depending on the role, we might give you a short task to prepare beforehand or do some role-play. Nothing scary – we just want to see how you think and give you the opportunity to showcase your skills! This interview will usually be with the hiring manager, and a member of the team leadership. You'll also have the opportunity to discuss how you found the task, ask questions, and see the office.
Be yourself! We’re not looking for robots or rehearsed answers – just real people who share our values, and this is our chance to get to know each other better.
If it’s a yes from us (and a yes from you!), expect a warm welcome, a proper induction, and a coffee on us every day!
Yes! We offer hybrid working for most roles – 3 days in the office, 2 from where you choose. For Sales roles, hybrid working becomes available when individuals consistently hit target. As a growing team with new faces and big targets, being in the office regularly allow us all to build strong relationships, communicate effectively and get work done quickly.

We’re scaling fast, hitting 25-30% year on year growth. These are big numbers, so it’s really important we’re all pulling in the same direction and never forget what makes us a great place to work. What's the point if you can't have some fun at the same time? We're serious about make moving miles better for everyone, but we don't take ourselves too seriously.
We’re the goldilocks of workplaces: financially stable and big enough to scale without being too process driven or corporate, and have great leaders with deep expertise in their areas you can really learn from. But we’re still small enough make decisions quickly and for every person to count – no matter how senior, everyone's ready to roll up their sleeves! We love this but we know it's not for everyone, so you'll need to be comfortable with change and quick on your feet.
AnyVan is a great place to learn and grow, so long as you're up for the challenge. But most importantly, we have a lot of fun and don't take ourselves too seriously!
We have a smart-casual dress code and we trust our people to dress appropriately depending on the situation/their audience. Some people like to dress to impress at interview and others prefer something more relaxed – we encourage you to dress like yourself and wear something you feel comfortable in. So unless you prefer, suits are definitely not required.
