We are a family-owned courier brokerage firm.
We offer a premium delivery service via world-renowned courier companies such as DHL, UPS and TNT. Apart from this, we also offer discounted shipping prices via Airlines and Sea-Freight companies.
Customer Services-
Monday to Thursday - 8:00am to 4:00pm
Friday 8:00am and 1:00pm. Please expect delayed responses to your emails beyond these times
Important Terms and Conditions-
1) As your contract would be with us, you are solely bound by our Terms and Conditions of business and any differences in the Terms of business of our various delivery partners would not apply to you.
2) If it is discovered later on during the booking process after a bid has been accepted that your boxes contain an item on our Prohibited or Restricted items list, we reserve the right to cancel the job and cannot be held liable for losses of any nature that you may have to incur due to this. If a parcel has been collected from you and after security scanning at the depot it is discovered to contain Dangerous Goods, the package may be disposed off with no liability being accepted. NO LIQUIDS OR HUMAN REMAINS ACCEPTED ON OUR SERVICE
3) If your parcel has been lost or damaged in transit, please contact us immediately via email. All claims for Loss/Damage of goods are carried out in accordance with our Terms and conditions of business. If any of our delivery partners are contacted directly without our authorization, we reserve the right to dismiss any claims placed with us and we would not be able to assist at a later stage.
4) All pickups/deliveries are from/to the Ground Floor(Kerbside) of the premises only. The courier is not liable to load/unload the boxes for you. He may help with this but please bare in mind that you might have to do it on your own.
5) Any job cancellation requests made by the customer before a pickup has been agreed will enjoy a refund of 50% of the funds paid to us. If a cancellation is requested once a pickup date has been booked in or after a pickup has been attempted, we would regrettably not be able to offer any refunds in this case.
6) All Pickup and Delivery dates provided are non-guaranteed. We don't accept liability for unforeseen delays and hence cannot compensate for any corresponding losses faced.

The other star ratings are all determined by the number of successful jobs with a compulsory minimum of 95% feedback:
- Bronze Certified
= 20 - 70 successful jobs - Silver Certified
= 71 - 250 successful jobs - Gold Certified = 250+ successful jobs

To become an Accredited transport provider we ask our users to present one of the following pieces of documentation to further verify themselves.
- Copy of Goods in Transit Insurance certificate
- Company Registration certificate (if applicable)
- UK VAT registration certificate (if applicable)
- Photocopy of Passport
- Drivers licence details

To be fair, I had quick resonses from Anyvan and their contractor in the many times I, as a private individual with no relevant experience of this. I had many questions all answeredvery soon after. However, I only had one quote so I had to take it and I did not know it was being sub-contracted to DHL (whose operatives abroad are not very efficient and there are issues with DHL that are not known unless one deals with them regularly. I now have to recoup customs duties retrospectively on the goods entering the UK and I did not know about these (which should not have been taken anyway) until the very last moment when I contacted DHL Customs for the third time. I hope I do not have to go through this again. I cannot afford it anyway. |

After accepting the quote, paper work for shipping to Austria was provided by email. This included the manifest with relevant codes. After giving dimensions and weights of items to be shipped, labels for each box were then provided. C_Van arranged for Fed Ex to ship my items and pick up/delivery went smoothly. All paperwork was correct and I did not need to pay taxes on my personal goods (after some back and forth with customs in Austria). All in all, everything went to plan. |
