We're based in Peterlee, County Durham. SR8.

We dont own vans, we use hired vans on long term contract from a local company. These are a Mercedes Vito dualliner with 6 seats with a reasonable luggage space and also a towbar (comes in handy for the larger house moves we do where we only need a slghtly more capacity and in need to transport a family with the move or moving larger trailers and caravans/boats). A Mercedes Sprnter extra long wheel based and high roof panel van, (great for medium sized long distance moves or local multi trip loads) and finally a Mercedes Sprinter luton box van with taillift also great for removals, we even transported a small car from peterlee to plymouth in it.

I have my own car, a 2010 Vauxhall Zafira (7 seats) with a tow bar and usually with a flat bed trailer attatched to it. handy for only a few items, but i have done small house moves on this using the space in the car too. we're looking to get a bracket fitted in the future to transport motorcycles, but its been great for sofas and other furniture and bulky stuff. it is a cheaper alternative to a van over a longer distance, every thing is always strapped with good quality straps and if needed a tarpaulin to keep items dry or even to keep bits of rubbish flying out.

I personally have a hackney carriage drivers license issued by Durham County Council. But I do not use my taxi for any jobs on this site. Even if it is to pick up a person and to give them a lift to anywhere in the uk. I will either use my car, or the vito.

payment terms:

i prefer bank transfer from your account to my account. it must be paid within 24 hours of accepting my quote unless otherwise arranged.

i can take cheques and they must be cleared before we do any work for you. if a cheque bounces, there will be an added of 5% of the cheque amount. and this will be noted on any feedback you will receive from us.

if you have no other option than to pay with cash. then there will be an added charge of 7% of the total amount of cash paid (excluding tips) for a cash handling fee.
