I was very impressed by the ease with which it was possible to book, especially at short notice, and the quality of the logistics throughout. Being able to track the progress of the driver was so useful (although there was different information on my smartphone to that on my computer, which was strange). The schedule was about half an hour over-run, but unsurprising given the distance. I appreciated the same day delivery, but in future would probably not book a collection so late in the day from such a distance for the sake of the driver. The two men who delivered the furniture were polite, efficient and helpful and thankfully strong as the furniture is very heavy! One specific issue that possibly needs to be addressed is the allocation of space - I booked through Gumtree and all that was required was to state the items to be collected. There was no request to provide dimensions. This meant that the items just about squeezed into the van. But overall, an excellent collection/delivery and I wouldn't hesitate to use AnyVan again.
