My move was stressful, as are probably a lot of house moves. I exchanged my contract the day before I moved. I didn’t know whether I was going to have to put my belongings into storage and find somewhere for me and my cat to live or whether I could move into the house.that I was purchasing. I was also still packing at the last minute. Having to finalize my requirements 48hrs before moving was highly inflexible compared to other competitors and ended up doubling the cost of my move compared to my husbands whom was able to get a quote for moving his items 24hrs before the move. The removal men were great, they did a good job and were very pleasant. I didn’t appreciate being charged £48/ hr whilst waiting for completion, a competitor whom my husband used didn’t demand these charges, therefore I wouldn’t recommend any van as a good and fair removal company. Any van was recommended to me, but in my experience Any Van was highly inflexible and ready to penalize the customer at every opportunity( on two occasions for me. I got the impression that any van may operate under many franchises. Maybe I got a rogue one. I would welcome your feed back on my experience.

They were very understanding and helpful

This rating is purely for my drivers and not AnyVan itself. My drivers were very kind and gave up a lot to help my partner and I move successfully- working far past normal working hours. I was particularly grateful as AnyVan had communicated the details of my move very poorly to them- estimating my furniture to take up 12 cubic meters when it was patently going to be far higher than that. This was after me clearly stating the dimensions of my furniture over the phone. Luckily all of the furniture made it but it was not guaranteed.

Sorin and Ovidiu were purely brilliant: strong, organised, cheerful, helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to use then again or recommend then. Thanks to both of them.
